Do You Charge For Waiting Time And Car Parking At Airports?
We track when your flight is expected to land, and our professional drivers will arrive approximately 30 minutes after this time to ensure that the waiting time and car parking costs are kept to a minimum.
If any extra waiting time is required and the car parking goes over 30 minutes after your plane lands, you will be charged for this additional time. Waiting time and car parking are charged at £20.00 per hour in 15-minute increments (£5.00) for all vehicle types. If you have paid in advance and you are a credit/debit card customer, you will be required to settle this cost with the driver before your journey completes. If you are an account customer, this charge will be added to your bill.
How Long Should I Allow For The Journey To The Airport?
This will all depend on which airport you are planning to travel to. However, we do ask that you allow as much time as possible for your airport transfer. See an average guide below, by the airport:
- Bristol Airport – 45 minutes to 1 hour
- Heathrow – At least 2 hours
- Gatwick – At least 3 hours
- Birmingham – At least 2 hours.
What Happens If My Flight Times Change?
When you book your airport transfers, we will ask for your flight details. From this, our team will check and monitor your flight time to the best of their ability, to ensure that your pickup time is as accurate as possible. We do ask that our customers make us aware of any delays if possible, to make sure that our drivers can allow for any additional time needed.
What Happens If I Can Not Find My Driver?
On some occasions, you may be a step ahead and get off your flight and through into the arrivals hall before our driver. Our drivers are very professional and will wait for you with a name card, to make finding the right transfer service easy.
We advise that you find a visible location which is easily identifiable in the arrivals hall, and then call our team on 0330 162 4988. We will make contact with your driver and find out where they are to provide you with an estimated pickup time. We will also let the driver know where you are so that they can easily find you as soon as possible.
